Not a flower one this time. A little homage to the humble black bird who serenades anyone and anything that happens to be listening. I really like the silhouette of the building and bird against the sky and the black and white helps to set it off.

Tyger Tyger
The fierce orange of this tulip is really intense and i like the contrast of focus and blur. I haven't played at all with the lighting or colour effects on this shot as not to take away from the colouring.
Velvet
I wont go too flower mad in one go i promise but it would be rude not to upload some of my newest shots. This picture works really well in black and white and it retains the delicate detail of the petals.
Sunshine
Finally, a sunny day! Not only does waking up to the sunshine put you in a better mood but it is also perfect picture weather! Can you guess what I've been doing today.....the abundance of lovely spring flowers has meant a bumper amount of flower shots today so be prepared for lots and lots and lots of flower uploads in the coming days! Here's a nice sunny shot to get me started!

The Way Ahead
This picture holds many happy memories for me and was taken on the driveway to our church, the day before our wedding. The title is a nice summary too! Converted into sepia it's a nice picture i think, not the sort of photo that you need to have energy to look at but rather you can just look and appreciate it's simpleness.

Flash Of Pink
Since purchasing my new camera i have been toying with the idea of a full on photography project combining some of my other hobbies. Enter Ted Hughes Crow - an absolute epic piece of poetry which is challenging but utterly captivating i think. The how and why is still being worked out in the deeper recesses of my mind....who knew there was one! It will be very dark to say the least so whilst im contemplating that here is a bit of 'light'.
Sound Of Music
Another one from Bavaria and a snapshot of a truly stunning landscape. Makes you want to burst into a rendition of the hills are alive.....no?....just me then! I do particularly like the cross just appearing in the distance and the way the light is cast over the rolling hills.
